A little while ago, I dropped in on the most visited art museum in the world: the Louvre. It was huge, it was packed, and it was a perfect place to indulge in my favourite museum hobby – snapping what-I-call Statue Selfies. So far I’ve played around with the museum-based selfie idea with statues taking selfies in the V&A and figurine photography in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC.

The Louvre seemed like the perfect addition to the list, although I’d have to omit superstar objects like the Venus de Milo for obvious reasons…

However, the museum was absolutely packed with viable statues just itching to have their picture taken by *ahem* themselves.
